“No one wants to be in the bad books of the King” Fans perplexed as Patrick Beverley evidently seen ‘unessentially’ staring down at LeBron James
Patrick Beverly steals ball from LeBron James
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Patrick Beverley was having a lot of fun against the Lakers through mind games and taunting abilities on Wednesday. The game was fully dominated by the Wolves as they didn’t give any chance to the Lakers to make a comeback, they were all over in the mind of the Lakers team by making fun of them, staring down at star players, talking trash.
The Timberwolves have shown some extraordinary performance in recent few games and they continued the thread when the Lakers visited them on Wednesday. The Lakers were already having a struggling season and their defeat against the Wolves had given them more harm but then things got more worst when Patrick Beverly and Co started to insult the star players of the Lakers.
Patrick Beverley disrespects Lakers star LeBron James, by talking trash and staring down at him.
We all know how Patrick Beverly always tries to frustrate the opponent by getting into their heads and the same thing was seen in the game, where he was constantly trying to provoke LeBron James and Russell Westbrook. There were multiple events when Beverly either stared down or disrespected King James.
Beverly was playing some insane games as making back-to-back steals in the second quarter, grabbing rebounds scoring the layups, and every time he pulled some great shots, he couldn’t hold back but to flex in front of LeBron. The fans sitting in the crowd were perplexed as he was ‘unessentially’ staring down at the Four-time NBA champ.
When LeBron was asked about the trash-talking by the Wolves Players he said, “It’s part of the game.” Further, he continued by saying, “I’m very comfortable being uncomfortable. … You can control what you can control. … It’s easy to be comfortable when you are winning,” the Lakers star continued on his frustration level.
Even his teammate Westbrook also has the same opinion as he stated during the postgame, “I honestly don’t pay no mind to it. Maybe other guys. They weren’t talking to me. They were talking to individual guys, but the trash talking doesn’t bother me none. Nobody over there has done anything in this league,”
The Lakers surely had some rough night against the Wolves on Wednesday, but things will not change if they continue to struggle, they have to improve their record and game or they will face more such embarrassments in their remaining games of the season.
