Rebellion in Lakers camp as important members like a post suggesting LeBron James led team “Disrespecting the Game”

Lakers Asst. coach Phil Handy has played a great role in developing the players for LeBron James-led team but it seems that their mess in this season has provoked him to start criticizing them openly. Recently, even if you have lightly followed the NBA, then you might be knowing what kind of melodrama is roaming around the franchise and they are in headlines every next day.

In this season, the Lakers are unable to perform on the big stage and have become the worst team of LBJ’s career, they have lost 7 out of their last 10 games which have made the sports analyst find the faults in their game. After a recent loss against the Pelicans at home, the Lakers became a big target for everyone. While following this Kendrick Perkins was so frustrated that he took things on Twitter and bombed some heavy criticism.

He tweeted, “The Lakers should be ashamed of themselves! You can’t blame Vogel for that disturbing performance, carry on. ALL BS aside the Lakers are disrespecting the game of basketball right now! That bad body language and careless basketball ain’t it. Show some type of pride and respect for the game! Carry on…”

Moreover, the tweet was not a big issue as everyone knows that Perkins always takes a dig at the Lakers, but the turn of events happened when LA Lakers asst. coach Phil Handy liked the tweet. This is a big disgrace for the LA-based franchise that their staff members are liking posts that are absolving them of blame.

Phil Handy’s frustration with the Lakers management and LeBron James is not new

Meanwhile, it is not the first time that Phil has been in disagreement with the Lakers team members. During the initial days of January, the Lakers were playing one of their games against the Wolves, and then in between the game when the team was moving to the dressing room Coach Phil and LeBron James had a heated exchange of words.

The cracks in the Lakers squad have started to appear on the surface, as not only Phil but fans and the Lakers front office are equally frustrated. It will be unsurprising if the Lakers management starts to clean out the coaching staff and bring a new one or elevate Phil for this position if the worse situation continues this season.
