Michael Jordan is one of the legendary NBA basketball players which world has ever seen, he dominated the NBA in the era of the 90s. Michael Jordan played with Chicago Bulls for 13 seasons from which he won 6 NBA championships for the franchise. To bring glory to the Bulls, Michael Jordan led the team and was accompanied by Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Toni Kukoc.
On 9 November 2021, Scottie Pippen published his autobiography Unguarded in which he shared his transparent takes on Michael Jordan. In this book, Pippen took a U-turn of commending his former Chicago Bulls teammate Michael Jordan for decades to call him selfish, hypocritical, and insensitive. But, an old video of Michael applauding Scottie went viral which has turned the tables.

Here’s how Michael Jordan praised Scottie Pippen
The video is of the 1996 NBA finals in which Michael Jordan appeared in front of the press after winning the finals for the Bulls, in this video he gave credit to Scottie Pippen for calling him back to the NBA and he even answered rumors of Scottie leaving the team.
Jordan stated, “He is not going anywhere. He is not going – he is one of the reasons I came back. If he leaves, I am leaving again. Yeah, I hope he’s around. A lot of people doubted Scottie Pippen for a long period of time. And he has become like a little brother to me. I am very happy that he could come back today and answer to a lot of the critics that kinda criticized him.”
Further, Jordan added, “And to his credit and to the work that he’s done, the 18 months that I was away. I’m very blessed to be a part of his team and see him grow so much in the last eight years. It’s truly a blessing for the city of Chicago and certainly for me.”

Michael Jordan’s NBA basketball career started in 1984 with Chicago Bulls. During his initial season in NBA, he was not able to win the championship because of no quality players in the Bulls. But in 1987 Scottie Pippen joined the Bulls campaign, this partnership of Jordan and Pippen led the Chicago Bulls to 3 NBA titles of 1991, 1992, and 1993.

Michael Jordan with Chicago Bulls rebounded in 1995-96 NBA season with new member Dennis Rodman in the team. Bulls and Jordan again declared their comeback with the 1996 NBA title and later won the tiles of 1997 and 1998. This showed how important was Michael Jordan for the Chicago team.
