The Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland seems to be on a mission to bring his team in the glory of the 2022 NBA season, he has shown exceptional form this year. In the Initial Period of the current NBA season, the Cavaliers were seen struggling to win the game against the popular and best teams of the NBA.

But now it seems that the Cavs have overcome all their issue and the whole team is contributing to the win in the league games. Evan Mobley has shown spectacular performance and proved his candidacy for Rookie of the Year, Kevin Love and Jarrett are leading the team like all-stars, but their guard Darius Garland is making the most difference in the winning games of the Cavs.

Darius Garland again levels his stats with former Cavs star LeBron James

Darius Garland is just playing his third year in the NBA but has shown the potential of an all-star. Despite being new in the team Garland has already made his place in the starting 5 of the Cavs lineups. On Monday night, the New York Knicks were at the Cavalier’s home for the game and Garland stole both show and game with his basketball skills.
Garland scored 13 points and 12 assists against the Knicks and created a new franchise record of the 5th straight game with 10 assists for the Cavs. Through this, he has tied the records with LeBron James (2017-18) for the longest streak of 10 assists by any Cavaliers player over the last 10 seasons. With the Garlands tremendous game the Cavs defeated the Knicks with a score of 95-93.
This is not the first time Garland has equaled the stats with LeBron James, in the last game of the Cavs vs the Jazz he ended up making history by becoming the only Cavs player besides LeBron James to record a triple-double through three quarters in the past 25 years.

Will Darius Garland make it to the NBA all-star?

The 21-year-old has become a new asset for the Cavs, he has proved his consistency in the games. In this season Garland is averaging 19.7 PPG, 8.2 APG, 3.3 RPG, and 1.3 SPG which showcase his two-dimensional gameplay in both offense and defense.
Darius Garland has still not made it to NBA all-stars but if he continues with recording such great stats it is possible that he will soon be part of all-stars. He is currently ranked ninth in the eastern conference with 343,551 votes, Votes might be less for him but we can surely say that he is a star in making
