That is wat is believed by Phoenix Suns’ veteran Eddie A Johnson who has gone onto make a special request from the Golden State Warriors marquee on how to surpass him in the NBA All-Time scoring list. Safe to say, it might be his 13th year in the league, yet Curry is determined to make it his best ever. 

To those who are not are, after Stephen Curry surpassed Ray Allen in the all-time 3-point tally, he is just 13-points away from surpassing Suns’ Eddie A Johnson in the all-time scoring list. Even on the worst night, the 33-years-old point guard can manage to register a score of more than 13-points. With the special occasion on the cards, Stephen Curry who is placed on the 59th spot in the list, has a chance of improving his claim.

Eddie A Johnson averaged 16 points per game in his career whilst having an accuracy rate of 47.2 from the field. Recently, Johnson tweeted about Curry surpassing him on the list. The former MIP requested the Warriors point guard to honor him by shooting from mid-range and not a 3-pointer. Johnson added how Stephen Curry almost defeated him in the driveway when the latter was in his pre-teens. 

Curry is having one of the greatest seasons of his career currently. The three-time champion is currently averaging 27.0 points per game, 6.1 assists, 5.5 rebounds on nearly 40% shooting from beyond the arc. The leading 3-point scorer and former MVP is averaging a staggering 13.5 attempts from the downtown.

Having said that, whether Curry will be able to surpass Eddie A Johnson in Warriors next game against the Sacramento Kings remains to be seen. However, in their latest encounter Steve Kerr decided to bench and rest all of his marquee players. As a result of which the Dubs suffered a 19-point loss against the Toronto Raptors.
