Ever since the modern-day NBA has shifted focus more upon improving the shooting range of players from behind the arc, it is all due to Golden State Warriors’ marquee Stephen Curry who has undoubtedly paved the way for future generations from downtown. Having already broken numerous franchise and 3-pointer records, many hoop fans suggest that Curry is the best 3-point shooter ever to step into the NBA. Yet Michael Jordan has other view and goes onto suggest that the 33-years-old is still not eligible to be a Hall of Famer. 

Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry have been publicly appreciating one another for their scoring prowess. On one hand, where Curry feels that Jordan has inspired a plethora of NBA stars. Jordan has always been vocal about Curry breaking the 3-point charts before ending his playing tenure in the league. However on this occasion Air Jordan surely did not appreciate the 3-point king enough, which even resulted in fans revolting the statement of the Chicago Bulls great.  

Michael Jordan Suggest Stephen Curry Not a Hall of Famer Yet 

In a segment on “Today” with Craig Melvin, Jordan sipped tequila and noted that the all-time list of players he would want to play with in a pickup game remains Hakeem Olajuwon, Magic Johnson, Scottie Pippen and James Worthy, Sports Illustrated reported

“So, Steph Curry shouldn’t be offended when he watches this?” Melvin asked.

“I hope not. He’s still a great player. Not a Hall of Famer yet, though,” Michael Jordan replied. “He’s not.”  

Having said that, this could potentially be the first time where Jordan is completely wrong. Even if Stephen Curry’s career was to end today, he is 2-time MVP, 3-time NBA Champion, Highest scorer of the Golden State Warriors franchise. He averages 23.5 points a game and shoots a strong 43.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90.5 percent from the free-throw line. And lastly a 6-time All Star.
