Anthony Edwards

Many believed that 2020 NBA No.1 Draft Pick, Anthony Edwards was the premier choice for Rookie of the Year last season, but even when he was deprived of it, the youngster shows no signs of backing down as he has once again started the 2021-22 season in blistering form. Moreover, during the Timberwolves vs Nuggets showdown, Ant Man went one step ahead and went onto score game-high 38 points. In the process, of which he even went onto break several records.

Not only was Edwards superb, but the support he got from Karl Anthony Towns was impressive too. Will this under-appreciated duo be able to rank among the playoff berth in the conference? This remains to be the biggest questions even now-

On the other hand, with the Denver Nuggets struggling to find the same form as hoop fans are aware in the previous couple of seasons, Nikola Jokic seems to be the only player being able to fight and score for the team. Moreover, with Michael Porter Jr and Jamal Murray out due to respective injuries, this team needs another marquee player to support Jokic sooner rather than later.
