With LeBron James suspended after elbowing Isaiah Stewart, the Lakers were in action against the in-form New York Knicks in their most recent showdown, with expectations from Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook to lead the side. With the latter scoring a 31-point triple double, AD’s performance proved to be the difference maker after the marquee player only managed to score a total of 20 points in the highly staked Lakers vs Knicks showdown.
Playing over 33 minutes, Anthony Davis made a slow start, while the Lakers battled it out against the New York Knicks yet came out second-best after they lost 106-100. Even with a star-studded team, hoop fans have once again questioned, “When will they start playing?” After LA Lakers lost without LeBron James at the Madison Square Garden.

It seems like a regular feature now, that LeBron James will not play for the purple and gold army while the team struggles continue without their marquee player on the court. With this loss, Lakers are now 9th in the Western Conference, making their fans super angry, especially when the team were to avenge their loss from the previous season.
Unfortunately, that was hardly the case tonight. And no matter what you’ve done for the team before, NBA fans on Twitter never leave the opportunity to troll players when the opportunity arises. Thanks to AD’s underwhelming performance, they didn’t even have to try very hard.
