Klay Thompson compares himself to Magic Johnson
Klay Thompson has been absolutely insane after his return to NBA this season, he has continued his form in the game of the Golden State Warriors v/s the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday Night. Warriors after the recent struggle are coming back on track while they defeated the Mavericks by 130-92 who were on the ride of winning 11 games out of 13.
We know Klay Thompson as the greatest catch and shooter of all time but in the against the Mavericks, Thompson showed the other side of his personality. He was seen dropping flashy back passes in the game and displayed his hidden talent of playmaking. In the post-game interview, Thompson discussed his game where he compared himself to legendary Guard Magic Johnson and even talked about concerning knee issue.

Thompson was asked by the reporter of NBA on TNT “how’s your knee?” to which he replied, “Feels great when you shoot the ball well and make a couple of behind-the-back passes so.”
Further, the interviewer also asked Thompson what does he think about his best Steph Curry impersonation today. Klay said, “No, that was more Magic Johnson than Steph Curry. Come on. I had eyes in the back of my head tonight.”
Klay Thompson also talked about how grateful was he to come back on the floor to play basketball after his knee was tweaked in the game against the Indiana Pacers due to which he didn’t play the last two games and the dub nation was concerned about his injury.
Thompson was leading the team with his passes it was also his most minutes played a game since his return. He scored 15 points, 6 assists in 26 minutes of court time.

Will Klay Thompson continue to showcase his new skill?
Klay Thompson’s return was an emotional moment for the Dub nation and Warriors team & management. But he is still in his recovery mode, Warriors are handling his workload efficiently by only allowing him to play half minutes of the game and are gradually increasing it game-by-game so that it doesn’t put pressure on his rehab.
Moreover, Klay Thompson and Co will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night and it will be interesting to watch whether he will use his upgraded weapon of passing in the next game or not.
