“That’s cute”- Russell Westbrook after Kings play “Cold As Ice” in Lakers Loss
Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook has been getting the headlines more than often but for all the wrong reasons. Since his trade, the MVP hasn’t had a chance to catch a breather as he is trolled for almost everything that he does on the court.
The former MVP was traded to the LA Lakers from Washington Wizards because the Lakers needed agility and a highly athletic player on the court. His trade was one of the most hyped talks of the town but when the 33-year debuted on the court, fans understood it was all smoke no fire.
There’s no doubt that Westbrook possesses a great deal of talent but if he’s unable to execute them on the court: the place where it is needed the most then the people can’t be put at fault for being dubious regarding him.

Russell Westbrook’s savage reply to Kings’ playing ‘Cold As Ice’
After experiencing some amazing matches, the Lakers slumped against the Kings yet again after their embarrassing loss on Sunday against the Grizzlies.
The LA Lakers traveled to Golden 1 Centre to take on the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday. The Lakers had very high hopes considering how well they have been performing for the past few matched registering wins after wins but they had to trace back what they originally intended on doing since the beginning of this season: inconsistency.
The Sacramento Kings handed the Lakers a burning defeat by 125-116 making it their 2nd consecutive loss after 4 back-to-back wins. But what more attracted the attention was the Kings’ DJ playing ‘cold as ice’ when Russell Westbrook was introduced. Though west brook didn’t take notice at every moment but addressed it when a reporter asked about it during the post-match conference.
Westbrook savagely replied by saying, “Who? The arena? That’s funny. I hope they played that the last 14 years, too. It’s funny they were playing that. That’s cute.”
It’s commendable to see Russell Westbrook not being effective with this “current unproductive slump” as he knows that these days won’ last long. It is just a phase that needs to be experienced for the time it is gonna last.
