To those who are not aware, the Lakers were down by as many as 22-points in the second quarter. With Malik Monk, Anthony Davis and LeBron James giving their all, in order for the home team to secure a win and more importantly a comeback against the in-form Knicks, who scored the missed points in a quarter in this game, Westbrook was evidently found missing easy layups and open shots from downtown.

That being said, the Lakers were down by as many as 14 points starting the second half. And it was none other than Malik Monk who came up with the answers on the offensive end, while Anthony Davis and LeBron James protected the rim at the backcourt. Which resulted in the Lakers managing to pull out the third quarter with a lead.

As of writing, the Lakers currently lead by 5 points with just over 1:30 of the fourth quarter remaining to play. With Russell Westbrook also on the floor (5 points so afr), will the LeBron James and Malik Monk inspired Lakers finally be able to close out a clutch game in their favor? Remains to be seen.
