“There will be two 50-balls tomorrow if they start talking” Bruce Brown warns Knicks fans to avoid trash-talking Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving
The Brooklyn Nets have had a very mediocre season, to begin with. Despite having one of the most talented teams in the league, they are currently fighting playoff contention in the upcoming seeding tournament. Right now they are currently the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference with a record of 41 wins and 38 losses.
The Nets have a very offensive-heavy roster that can put up soring numbers consistently on a day-to-day basis. But they have been lacking the entire season as per analysts of the game, is defense. On-demand, Brooklyn fell through with a blockbuster trade involving former players James Harden and Ben Simmons. The Australian baller is supposed to be exactly what they need in order to fill the defensive void, but he has not planned on making his debut with the team just yet.
Brooklyn Nets suffer a horrendous loss against the Atlanta Hawks
Obviously, news surrounding one of the most tragic losses of this season has gone viral with Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks toying around the Brooklyn Nets during the games. Kevin Durant recorded a career-higher in points of 55 going 8 of 10 from the three-point range and 19 of 28 from the field. Sadly, Durant’s efforts were not enough to carry the defenseless team, literally. Kyrie Irving also scored well recording 31 points during the game.
The Nets recently matchup against the Houston Rockets and managed to snatch a victory. Irving fought hard to give the team hopes moving forward into the post-season. He finished with 42 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and a block.
Brooklyn Nets’ Bruce Brown sends a stern warning to the Knicks
The Brooklyn Nets are set to face the New York Knicks on April 6th, 2022 at the Madison Square Garden. Fans of both teams will be present in the arena during the game. The Nets have won all three games played against the Knicks so far in the regular season as they are headed towards their fourth straight victory. Irving opened up about the excitement of moving into the game during the press conference.
He said, “You know how the series goes between us and New York Knicks… It’s going to be action-packed… It will be an exciting environment where you know what to expect. What better way to close out your season, your final few games, playing in one of the most historic arenas in the world. I know the Knicks will be ready. We’ve just got to be prepared. It’s about us.” Bruce Brown also took a moment to send a message to the opposition saying, “I don’t think they want to say too many bad things because there will be two 50-balls tomorrow if they start talking.”
