Timberwolves star Karl Anthony Towns gets ruthlessly destroyed on Twitter despite win over Clippers

After years of depression the Minnesota Timberwolves are back into the playoffs. Having to come from behind against a Kawhi Leonard less-Los Angeles Clippers, the Timberwolves outscored their opponents 31-20 in the fourth quarter to emerge victorious by just 5 points. However, being led by two of their star players, sadly Karl Anthony Towns was not one of them.
With the 3-point contest winner in fine form, all season long. This particular contest could have been one of his worst games in the 2021-22 season as he managed to register only 11 points with 3-of-11 shooting, including 4 turnovers and 6 fouls. Interestingly, KAT had just 5 rebounds registered against his name. So, to think, the Minnesota Timberwolves star had more fouls than rebounds, given a perfect idea of how his game was.
Karl Anthony Towns roasted on Twitter
Karl Anthony Towns found himself in foul trouble all game long. He picked up his fourth foul late in the second quarter. Granted, the question as to why he would even be in the game with three fouls in the first half is a valid one for head coach Chris Finch.
Talking about the Clippers vs Timberwolves play-in contest, Anthony Edwards led the team with 30 points on 10-21 shooting. Meanwhile, D’Angelo Russell was even more efficient, hitting 10 of 18 shots for 29 points. He also ripped three steals in the game.

With this win, the Timberwolves are scheduled to lock horns against the resilient and highly dominating Memphis Grizzlies in the first round of playoffs. Given how well the team has been built around JA Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr on either ends of the floor, Karl Anthony Towns will be required to bring out his A-Game in every game.
Will we witness the mighty Minnesota Timberwolves pave their way into the next round by overcoming the highly favourable Grizzlies? Or was their joy of making it in the playoffs be short-lived? Remains to be seen.
