NBA trade rumors: Here are the top 3 teams who might acquire Julius Randle before the trade deadline
Julius Randle
Julius Randle’s $117 million four-year extension contract will soon end with the New York Knicks before the offseason. It is predicted by SNY’s Ian Begley that the Knicks will not lose this opportunity to trade Randle for the right deal due to his underperformance in this season for the franchise.
When the Knicks drafted Obi Toppin, the question aroused about Julius Randle’s place in the team because Toppin and Randle play pretty much to the same spots. Meanwhile, with Randle’s contract expiring the Knicks are surely looking for a profitable trade. Julius might not be a star player but he is talented, in the last season he led the Knicks to their first playoff appearance since the 2012-13 campaign as the fourth seed in the East.
Julius Randle was also awarded the most improved player last season, but this season he doesn’t seem to be in good form as he has averaged 15.7 points per game. Moreover, the player has potential and hasn’t reached his prime so here are the top 3 teams that might acquire Julius Randle before the trade deadline.

3. LA Clippers
Clippers are not much keen to do business with the Knicks for Julius Randle, but this team really needs a player who can bring them stability. Currently, the star players George Paul and Kawhi Leonard are not able to perform in the matches due to their serious injuries.
The Clippers were expected to win the last year’s NBA Finals but were crushed by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals and even in the current season the team totally seems off and might not even qualify for the playoffs Randle can be the player who can bring their hopes up as a third option alongside Lou Williams on the bench.

2. Philadelphia 76ers
The 76ers were considered as the perfect team when they acquired Seth Curry and Danny Green to provide the support to the Ben Simmons jump shots strategy. But Simmons hasn’t played a single game in this season which has made the 76ers pretty much unstable.
Julius Randle would be a perfect replacement for Ben Simmons as he plays in the same position. With Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris and Randle the 76ers can form an ultimate offense that will be fully loaded with different game variations.
1. Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks are the defending champions and even performing very well in this season, but the franchise wants something more convincing to keep Giannis Antetokounmpo in their team for a longer period. A player who can provide him and the team proper support, therefore they recently signed Jrue Holiday and even tried to acquire Bogdan Bogdanovic via sign-and-trade which failed.
Now, they are still looking for a potential player to play aside from Giannis Antetokounmpo and Julius Randle would be a missing piece to their puzzle. Acquiring Randle might bring them balance because he is a talented player and he even had played with Holiday in the Pelicans
