Twitter goes in shock as Onyeka Okongwu posturizes 3 Lakers at once; Hawks make sensational comeback

Having blown away more than 10-points lead to end up losing a game, the Los Angeles Lakers led the unfortunate chart as they had met the same fate 11 times, more than any team entering the showdown against Atlanta Hawks. With LeBron James still being out due to sore knee, the purple and gold army once again saw their 11-point lead go in vain as the home team outscore them38-20 to win their seventh straight game. However, the man everyone is talking about is none other than, Onyeka Okongwu.

The 21-years-old Center for Hawks was given the responsibility to dominate the rim and score on majority of rebounds, if Hawks were to pull off an impressive win. Onyeka Okongwu scored 12-of-his-16 points in the fourth quarter. And in the same process, he went onto posturize three Lakers- Malik Monk, Austin Reaves and Stanley Johnson all at once. Quite remarkable? Isn’t it. Watch the video below.

With the scores being ties at 116 a piece, the Hawks needed to break the ice and Trae Young decided to give an explicit lob to Onyeka Okongwu who unleashed his best and dunked on all three Laker players near the rim.

Talking about the Lakers vs Hawks showdown, the away team got off to a good start, especially with Anthony Davis and Malik Monk able to knock down shots reasonably well. With the latter registering team-high 33 points, he fell short to connect in clutch situation.

On the other hand, Trae Young scored game-high 36 points. Moreover, John Collins got 20, whereas the home bench went onto add more than 40 points. While the Lakers bench only managed to add 27 points against its name, yet had four of their five starters in double digits.

With that being said, the Hawks have won 7 games on the trot and have made their win into the play-in tournament berths. The Lakers have lost 3 consecutive games, without LeBron James and are not far from slipping down the play-in tournament berths as well.
