There needs to be no introduction given for the Lakers vs Celtics rivalry in the NBA and what is at stake when these two iconic teams lock horns. Given that big games require big players, how can one rule out LeBron James leading the charge for the purple and gold army in front of the home fans in the first quarter of this particular game. Making sure, he brings the fans inside the Staples Center to their feet.
Given that the Celtics have already got the better of Lakers in the 2021-22 season, the away team came into the Staples Center with a set strategy and were destined to guard marquee players like LeBron James in the paint but little did they know, the King was in no mood to surrender and is looking destined to lead his team with the aim of finding consistency in the current season.

LeBron James shows supremacy in leading Lakers in first quarter against Boston Celtics
In the first quarter of Lakers vs Celtics, LeBron James managed to score 16 points out of the team’s 31-point tally, with 85% accuracy from the field, including two 3-pointers. On one hand, where LeBron has been on fire, Russell Westbrook has not been able to make his presence count as he has missed several open 3-pointers, part of which seems to be Boston Celtics’ strategy against the Los Angeles Lakers in this matchup.
Talking about LeBron James, he has still been playing great basketball this season even at 36 years old, but this was definitely his best quarter of the season. If the Lakers want to compete this season and play the way that people expect them to, James needs to keep doing some more of this.
