“He might break it next game”-Twitter reacts to Stephen Curry being closer to Breaking Ray Allen Record after Warriors vs Trail Blazers face-off

Stephen Curry is already considered the Greatest Shooter in NBA history but he is yet to surpass Ray Allen’s record for the most threes made. Since being drafted in 2009 by the Golden State Warriors, Curry has proven why he was called the best shooter amongst his fellow draftees. He not only became the epicenter of Warriors team play but also went on to make a place for himself amongst the NBA Superstars, and he has just inched a step closer to surpassing the Hall of Famer Ray Allen.

Whatever he does on the court people just love watching him play. Stephen Curry went on to win 3 NBA Champions and 2 most Valuable Player Awards with the Golden State Warriors. In the 2012-13 NBA Season he registered the record with the most threes made in a Regular NBA Season with 272.

The stage is set for Stephen Curry to break Ray Allen’s Record

Stephen Curry also holds the record for NBA’s longest active streak as he has at least knocked down one basket from the three-pointer line in 149 games consecutively. With crazy shooting wrists Curry also possesses great ball-handling skills and drive-in talents which makes him a bit of an oddball when placed with the conventional Point Guards. The mold of a stereotypical point guard has been re-shaped by Stephen Curry. He isn’t just good at passing and dribbling but almost everything that transpires on the court.

The Seven-time NBA All-Star is averaging 5.5 Three-pointers per game this season and the day is not far away when he’ll break Ray Allen’s most 3 pointers made in the NBA record of 2,974 which to date stands unbroken and high.

In Warrior’s last match against the Trail Blazers, the dub nation was excited to see Stephen Curry dropping 3s like rain but the 33-year-old had to be satisfied with only 6. The Warriors registered their 21 st win of this season.

Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr after the match commented on Stephen Curry only making 6 three-pointers. He said, “To make that many 3s in one game obviously has never been done before, so it was just a routine night. He made six, which is nothing for him. I don’t think I ever did that in my entire career one time.”

With 6 threes Curry is now at 2,964 just 9 away from tieing the All-Time score and 10 away from breaking the record. The anticipation building around this record is too much because Curry is the only one from his generation to even get into the top 4. Though James Harden is also on the list he is still hundreds away from Stephen Curry’s current record.

Earlier this week, Curry talked about even he is anticipating breaking the record. He said, “I feel like it will be special no matter what because I’ll make it special and it will be an amazing experience for me and my teammates.” Whenever that may happen the Dun Nation is all ready to celebrate it with the Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors will start their 5five road game tour this weekend. Their first stop is Philadelphia. 10 threes in one game? It’s not impossible for Stephen Curry.
