NBA Twitter reacts to Ricky Rubio’s unfortunate news
Ricky Rubio
Cavaliers guard Ricky Rubio suffered a scary knee injury during the final minutes of the game against Pelicans. Cavaliers lost that game with 108-104.
Rubio in order to score in the last minutes of the game tried to sidestep in order to avoid the defense of Pelicans but in the process, slipped and fell down on the floor. He immediately grabbed his left knee and cried in pain and trainers came to his aid in the court.
Twitter reacts to Ricky Rubio injury
Rubio was on the verge of scoring a triple-double making him the top scorer for his team. Though it was not the first time he was getting injured he got the same injury back in the year 2012 on the same knee as well.
Unfortunately, the guard for Cleveland Cavaliers has to miss the rest of the season as he has suffered an ACL injury. Twitter users are really sad as Ricky was having a great season so far and was filling the gap in the team which was created due to the absence of Collin Sexton.

What will Cavaliers do now?
The injury to Rubio has certainly shook the team as he was one of the important players for the team. Things are going ot be challenging for the team as the responsibility now lies on the hands of Darius Garland, who will have to bear the pressure which would have been otherwise been divided between Rubio and him.
The other option which they could see is the trade market and would most likely try to sign a new player for themselves in order to balance things for themselves to further win games in the tournament. At this point, if Cleveland reaches the play-in tournament, it could be seen as one of the biggest accomplishments for the team ever. Time will only tell whether Cavaliers will cope up with the situation or not.
