Lakers vs Thunder

The hoop fans have seen a great spectacle by the Oklahoma City Thunder at their home court against the dangerous and star-studded Los Angeles Lakers. With the latter team having a lead by as many as 26 points in the second quarter, the Laker Nation was stunned as the team fell behind by the end of third quarter, courtesy to a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. The Lakers vs Thunder game surely proved to be one of the most exciting games of NBA 2021-22 Season.

This 26-point comeback by the Thunder against the Lakers is the joint highest in franchise history. (Other two being against Houston rockets and Chicago Bulls in 2019). The entire team of OKC made a contribution, where on the other hand, Malik Monk and Carmelo Anthony missed the greatest moments in the game to send Lakers vs Thunder to overtime. As a result, Russell Westbrook’s agitations were visible as he was ejected from the game after the home team sealed it infront of their home fans.

Talking about the particular incident of Malik Monk first, the Lakers’ shooter does not have a reputation of being the most clutch player. Yet with the chance at hand, Monk throw an air-ball while attempting a long-range shot from behind the arc. After which when OKC had to re-commence the game, Carmelo Anthony was able to gather the ball with more than 6 seconds on the clock. But ended up attempting a half-hearted 3-point attempt.

With the purple and gold army experiencing such a huge setback, especially after winning two game back-to back, Twitteratis and hoop fans has enough for their content to troll the LeBron James less side. When many had given up hope, it was the young squad of OKC led by Shai Gilgeous Alexander who beat one of the favorites to win the championship.
