Watch: Coach Steve Kerr gets irritated with questions upon Stephen Curry and Michael Jordan comparison

Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry

While Michael Jordan is the arguable G.O.A.T of basketball, Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry is the best 3-point shooter ever since in the league. One on hand, where the former has the ability dominate the defenders in the paint, the latter feeds upon finding an inch of space to shoot from downtown. Knowing their ability fans have always compared the two greats of the sport, but when asked to compare and pick, it seems like Coach Steve Kerr just got irritated.

For both Michael Jordan and Stephen Curry, their respective teams were built with the idea of forming an elite squad around them. Be it Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman or Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr finds it ‘stupid’ to compare Curry and Jordan at any level in the league.

An experienced campaigner himself, Steve Kerr has been there and done that in the NBA. Originating as a player, he featured alongside Michael Jordan during his stint with Chicago Bulls before coaching the unbeatable Warriors setup in the mid 2010s.

Recently however, the 56-year-old was left in a bit of a pickle. He was asked to choose between Jordan and Curry, who are unquestionably two of the best players that he has been up close and personal with. Wise as ever, Kerr played it down by saying, “Maaaannn! What, are you gonna put this on Twitter?”

Having said that, Steve Kerr seems to be flowing with confidence in the NBA 2021-22 Season as his Golden State Warriors led by Stephen Curry has proved to be the best team in the league after the first 20 games. Now, with the likes of Klay Thompson all set to return from next month, it remains to be seen whether the Dubs are able to elaborate upon their record or not.
