The Los Angeles Clippers have been keeping their championship hopes alive ever since the chances of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard’s return rumors were circulated in the media. With Reggie Jackson and other stars taking care of the team’s win ratio for more than a couple of months, the latest workout of Clippers’ marquee is surely going to hype up the fan base, approaching postseason.
It seems like the Los Angeles Clippers have secured themselves a play-in tournament berth. Could Paul George be back for Clippers, before postseason?
Los Angeles Clippers marquee Paul George has been out since December 2021 due to a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. There were initial fears that he could miss the rest of the season because of the issue, but fortunately, his elbow recovered nicely and it appears he is closer to returning.
Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints reported earlier, there is optimism that PG13 will suit up against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday. It is still not yet final and his status will be decided in the hours leading up to the game, but George has certainly shown he is ready when his number is called upon.
Paul George one was of the top scorers when he was leading the Kawhi Leonard less-Clippers. Given that Ty Lue’s team is surely approaching the playoffs, a healthy George can be key in taking the Clippers past the Memphis Grizzlies or perhaps Golden State Warriors in a seven-game series. But with the video out, it does feels safe to say that George’s return is approaching sooner rather than later. Will the Clippers be a force to reckon with in the postseason? Remains to be seen as the hoop festivity continues in the 2021-22 NBA Season.
