Roman Reigns is, inarguably, the biggest Superstar on the WWE roster today. While he has been dominating the roster with his in-ring performances for several years, but he completely changed the game when he returned to the company after a brief break at Summerslam 2020. He had finally turned heel.

Adopting the character of The Tribal Chief, he has really been performing at the God-Mode. He had associated himself with one of the most creative minds in the business today – Paul Heyman. This association has been immensely loved by the WWE Universe and since then Reigns has been the Universal Champion for over 500 days.

Throughout his reign as the Champion, which hasn’t shown any signs of coming to an end anytime soon, Roman Reigns has defended the title against the likes of John Cena, Edge and Daniel Bryan among others. He is now gearing up to face Brock Lesnar in the main event of Wrestlemania 38.

Roman Reigns is easily one of the biggest stars of the professional wrestling industry. Every week he walks out, demands acknowledgment, and defends his title. In a recent appearance on The Michael Kay Show, the Universal Champion compared himself to legendary basketball player Michael Jordan. He revealed that he motivates himself just like Jordan – through hating their opponent.

“I absolutely respect Lesnar, but in this sense, when it goes to one v one, hand on hand, you got to have some hate. Whether it’s to the core or not you have to you know, like Michael Jordan, I have to like personally motivate myself and grasp on to anything I can to take myself to that main event energy to that main event level to that championship defense mode. God mode,” mentioned the Universal Champion.

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar will main event Wrestlemania

Brock Lesnar won the Men’s Royal Rumble match this year and announced that he will be challenging Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 38. On the Road to Wrestlemania, he won the WWE Championship – making the match a Champion vs Champion.

WWE raised the stakes by announcing that this is going to be a Title Unification match. Interestingly, this is the only match on the entire card that has its spot fixed. Touted as the Greatest Wrestlemania match of all time, the match is set to be the main event of Wrestlemania Sunday.
