Basketball has been gaining momentum in India. The wonderful game surely has a huge fan base and it is ever-expanding. Moreover, when we talk about basketball, the league which comes first in our mind is the NBA where the biggest superstars of the game ply their trade.
While the popularity of the game is growing every day in India, the NBA is leaving no stone unturned in making the process as quick as possible. A huge step in that direction has been taken by the association as they have roped in Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador in India.

Evidently, Ranveer Singh was thoroughly elated after he was roped in by the biggest brand in basketball. “I have loved basketball and the NBA since my childhood and have always been fascinated with its influence on popular culture including music, fashion and entertainment,” said Ranveer in a statement.
Moreover, Ranveer went on to add that as the NBA is edging towards its 75th season, the timing to become a part of the league couldn’t have been any better. “With the NBA tipping off its 75th season celebrations, there couldn’t have been a better time to join forces with the league and support their efforts to grow basketball in the country.”
Ranveer took to Instagram to make the announcement. He shared a few funky clicks, as he more often does, and tried nailing a slam dunk. The Bollywood Superstar will attend NBA All-Star 2022 in Cleveland, where he will meet numerous NBA players and legends.
