“Welcome to my world” Nets star Kevin Durant shocks Jay Z as he takes control late in the game against Cavaliers

Jay Z and Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant had Jay Z making the “that’s nasty” face throughout the match as the player took over the game in the later stages of the match between the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers. Though Kyrie Irving led the way with points for the team, Durant’s contribution of maintaining the lead in the closing quarter of the game cannot be ignored as he turned on the saviour mode for Nets’ entire season. Durant and Irving’s partnership helped carry their team into the playoffs after their major win against the Cavs, and what you can be sure of is that Jay Z enjoyed the game, in fact, enjoyed is an understatement when you look at his facial expressions caught on camera.

The last quarter Kevin Durant was a beast the Cleveland Cavaliers didn’t have any answer to, and the unstoppable force handled business pretty easily for his team in order to take them to the playoffs. The burden of carrying their team to the playoffs was shared by Durant and Irving both but Jay Z seemed a bit more impressed by how Durant took over in the latest stages of the game to get his team the much-needed dub.

Kevin Durant

While Durant did give us quite a few highlights in the game with his unstoppable moves, the looks on a courtside viewer’s face seemed to attract more eyes than the game itself. It seemed as if HOV wasn’t prepared to watch the Durant magic take over the game, but thanks to that unpreparedness, we got some of the most interesting reactions courtside.

The Brooklyn Nets led the game with a comfortable margin for the entirety of the match but in the later stages, the Cavs started reducing the margin and started coming close, that is when Durant knew he needed to take over and bring moves to the court that no one would have an answer to. His time began in the last quarter of the game when his team needed him the most, and to say the least, Durant was there to the rescue. Well, what was also interesting to look at was the fact that the rescue was so nasty that it left Jay Z making expressions we had never seen from him or anyone else that often.

Durant goes on a shooting spree

In the last quarter of the game, Durant spread his magic in the entire arena, almost taking over the match and saving his team’s season. Durant started off with a single legged 3 after receiving a crazy pass from Irving. Jay Z’s expressions were worth looking at as he made the “that’s nasty” face. Post that, Durant went on a shooting spree and seemed invincible as he swished one shot after the other and brought his team out of the jaws of death.

The Brooklyn Nets managed to get another win extending their winning streak to 4, thanks to Kyrie Irving who has now returned to play all the games with the team after New York got rid of their vaccine mandates, giving the player a proper chance to express himself. Irving led the way for the Brooklyn Nets with 34 points, 12 assists and 3 rebounds followed by Durant who scored 25 points and then Bruce Brown Jr who scored 18 points.
