“We’re playing stupid and getting punked by one of the worst teams in the league” Draymond Green lashes out at his Warriors after the loss against Magic

Draymond Green has not kept anything back after the shocking loss against the Orlando Magic, a team that Green Considers to be one of the worst teams in the league. The loss does not bother in terms of positioning in the league, but the performance without Stephen Curry means that they are highly dependent on him and looking lost.

The season for the Golden State Warriors began the season with a bang, with Stephen Curry putting up MVP-worthy performances, Draymond Green looking like  DPOY, and Jordan Pool, just going from stride to stride in terms of getting buckets. At the start, the Warriors were looking as threatening as they come. The Warriors are having a mixed season as they approach the last stretch of the regular season. With them going on a 9-game win streak and now they have just plummeted in the league, they are recording a 6-12 record, since 9^th February.

Draymond Green and Stephen Curry have not played a single minute together this year and have their share of absence due to injuries. They have lost games to weaker sides since last month, and now they have suffered a loss against the Orlando Magic.

Draymond Green goes off after loss against Magic

Orlando Magic have been out of the contention of the playoffs a long time back, and are 14^th in the Eastern Conference, they have somehow shocked everybody with their performance against a team who are genuine title contenders, a huge upset for the Golden State Warriors as the Orlando Magic defeated the Warriors 94-90. The Magic outplayed the Warriors in almost every department from assisting, blocking, stealing, and lesser turnovers. Everything was done better than the Warriors.

The Warrior’s forward Draymond Green was unable to contain his words and was honest in stating how the Warriors played the game, against the 14^th placed Orlando Magic.

Draymond Green in the post-match interview said, “I think we’re playing soft. We’re playing stupid. We’re just not playing good basketball and we’re getting punked.” Draymond went ahead to emphasis how bad they played, far below their usual standards, “No disrespect to Orlando Magic, but that’s one of the worst teams in the league. We can’t match that with them. So if you can’t match that with them, you’re definitely not going to do it against a great team.” Said Green.
