Skip Bayless the biggest LeBron James hater is back in the headlines. But unexpectedly the other person isn’t LeBron James. As Russell Westbrook is the new scapegoat for the team since he is the one blamed the most. He is also the most criticized and hated player in the league so far this season. As he didn’t really live up to the hype fans around expected when LeBron James and Anthony Davis recruited him to L.A. This season Russ is averaging 18.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1 steal and 0.3 blocks per game.
Skip Bayless recently fired a shot at him full of criticism and disrespect as he used the term “Westbrick” to refer to Brodie in a tweet. Recently, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Los Angeles Lakers at Crypto.com Arena. The Clippers dominated the Lakers for four straight quarters but till the end of the third quarter the game was unpredictable as Russell Westbrook and Malik Monk ran a comeback. While LeBron James got the most in the offensive end. But soon the Clippers shut them downed out-scoring them by 40-18 in the third and even won the game.
The final box score stands at 132-111 favoring the Clippers. Currently, the Los Angeles Lakers are ranked as the 9th seed in the western conference with the record of 27 wins and 35 losses at .435. Russell in the game had 17 points, 3 assists and 8 rebounds while also getting a highlight-worthy bucket against the big guy Ivica Zubac and even showed him some attitude which Skip targeted in his take.

Skip discussed the game and Russell quoted: “At least the Lakers didn’t quit, down 17 in the 2nd quarter to the Clippers. Now they’re down 3 at half. But it was pure comedy watching Westbrick taunt Big Zu. Westbrick doesn’t deserve to taunt ANYbody.” Started off good but not leaving the habits behind Skip Bayless gave away a piece of criticism to Russell Westbrook for his highlight-worthy play on Clippers’ Big Ivica Zubac as he believes Brodie doesn’t deserve to show any kind of attitude to anybody.
The Los Angeles Lakers are way down as of now. Since they find themselves in the play-in tournament with the least chances of going in the playoffs and having a mad run in the post-season. Still, the players, stars and veterans of the team haven’t given up as they try their best to make it out and have a great time ahead in the season. But it is very necessary for the supporting cast like Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard and others to step up big and back LeBron James up.
