During the game against the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets during the halftime segment, Candace Parker changed the narrative and spoke about catch-and-shoot, and asked Shaquille O’Neal for his expertise about it, but the former Heat shooting Guard Wade had something else in mind, when Candace asked O’Neal for his expertise, Wade quickly gave his take and said, “One thing he don’t know. He don’t know nothing about no catch-and-shoot.” Shaquille O’Neal is not a player who shoots, but he came out with, “I used to set you up. What you mean I don’t know about catch and shoot?” said Shaquille O’Neal.

Candace Parker interrupted and brought to light Shaquille O’Neal’s Magic days, to which Shaq was primed and ready to use it to his advantage and made fun of Wade when he played Basketball for Marquette, “You know, he was still at Marquette shooting those little budget MTV commercials he was shooting. Yeah I play at Marquette and CUT!”, added Shaquille O’Neal.

Shaquille O’Neal and Dwyane Wade hit their primes in different seasons, but they were paired together to make a deadly combination when two were paired together during their time in Miami. Dwyane Wade was a young fellow when O’Neal was brought in by the Heat. Their first season together didn’t amount to much, but their second season was the one they started looking solid together. The duo was dominating the league and Wade became the talismanic figure in delivering buckets, averaging 17.2 points and 6.7 assists per game. O’Neal however was averaging 20.0 points and collecting 9.2 rebounds.

Miami Heat won their first championship in franchise history against the Dallas Mavericks, where Dwyane Wade put up a terrific performance, averaging 34.7 points, 3.7 assists, and 7.8 rebounds. Shaquille O’Neal didn’t have the greatest of impact in the finals but managed to average 13.7 points and 10.2 rebounds. The contribution from Shaq considering stats is decent but what he did with the franchise during his brief time there will never be forgotten by the Miami Heat faithful.
