FX’s upcoming series “The Sterling Affairs” is about to portray one of the most infamous scandals in NBA history. Premiering mid 2023, the premise of the mini-series is based on the events and eventual ousting of Donald Sterling from the ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers.

Employing an outstanding cast and a sensational plot to deliver, FX is looking to premier the mini-series later this year. Laurence Fishburne, a three-time Emmy award winner, has been cast as Doc Rivers. Rivers had originally been the LA Clippers‘ head coach who had to steer the Clippers going during those testing times of the upset.

With Laurence Fishburne as Rivers, more cast members include Cleopatra Coleman as V. Stiviano, Sterling’s mistress from 2014 and one of the protagonists of the events. Ed O’Neill has been cast in the titular role of Donald Sterling. Besides, Corbin Bernsen is set to play Pierce O’Donnell and Jock McKissic to play Glen “Big Baby” Davis. 

Rich Sommers has been cast as Seth Burton and Yvonna Pearson will be playing Deja. Other than this, Harriet Samson Harris will portray Justine and Clifton Davis has been cast as Elgin Baylor. Darryl Wesley will be playing Jamal Crawford. 

Fans have expressed positive reactions on the prepped up cast for the show. Many feel the appropriate actors have been cast into the roles and are expecting a good watch. But where to watch the mini-series? 

Where to Watch The Sterling Affairs?

The mini-series will premiere on Hulu in the United States, and internationally as a Star Original on Disney+. Although the release date is yet to be set by FX, the series is set to be released mid 2023. 

The Sterling Affairs can be watched via the Disney+ bundle which includes Hulu. Besides, FX will also be available on YouTube TV, Sling TV and HULU with Live TV. The series is about to be premiered in six parts in the later part of this year.

The miniseries will precisely portray Donald Sterling’s downfall and eventual ousting from the ownership of the LA Clippers. It will watch the story of head coach Doc Rivers in one of the most testing times of their franchise history. As to how the series will unfold, remains to be seen but fans are holding high expectations. With an outstanding cast and a promising production team, The Sterling Affairs is about to be one of the most anticipated shows from FX.
