“You’re too TINY” Kevin Durant disrespects Evan Fournier with the ultimate taunt

With the Brooklyn Nets finally managing to pose a big win against the Philadelphia 76ers, there next battle was against city rivals New York Knicks. Entering this contest, Kevin Durant did not have his partner-in-crime Kyrie Irving alongside him. Yet he alone, managed to stretch the winning streak of Steve Nash’s team, courtesy to a 53-point explosion including a heart-breaking 3 for the Knicks fans.
Not only was Kyrie Irving missing, but Durant did not have the luxury of Ben Simmons or Seth Curry in this particular encounter either. That being said, the Nets vs Knicks showdown was close throughout the four quarters. From one team catching form, to another team trying to hold up play, Durant finally had the last say and, in the process, bullied Evan Fournier as well.

Kevin Durant bullies Evan Fournier with ‘Too Small’ taunt
The New York Knicks were well aware who the Nets would turn their attention towards in the clutch. Even when Fournier seemed to have tightly guarded Durant, the former MVP came up with a phenomenal play, to score and ended up calling the defender, too tiny. Or perhaps how close he was to guard the ball from blocking out the shot.

Talking about the Nets vs Knicks showdown, Kevin Durant scored game-high 53 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. While Andre Drummond too took charge to score helpful 18 points. On the other hand, for the Knicks, Evan Fournier, RJ Barrett and Julius Randle managed to score 25, 24 and 26 points respectively.
With another loss, the changes of New York Knicks making it into the play-in tournament are looking slim. Will they be able to content in the business end of the 2021-22 NBA Season? Remains to be seen as the hoop festivity carries on. Lastly, for the Nets they would be up against the Orlando Magic in their next matchup.
