Just as everyone was beginning to forget Jordon Hudson and her issues, Bill Belichick‘s young girlfriend suddenly reappeared with another headline-making story. The University of North Carolina, which prohibited Hudson from engaging in matters related to the institution, reportedly contributed to the program missing out on talented wrestler AJ Ferrari.

Ferrari is among the top young wrestlers in the nation. He recently transferred from California State to the University of Nebraska. However, he was very close to wearing the sky blue of UNC.

Nebraska wrestling coach Mark Manning revealed the juicy story behind how the program managed to acquire Ferrari even though he was not even on their radar.

Rob Koll [the North Carolina coach], who I’ve known for 35 years and [is a] great friend of mine, called me up when they didn’t let A.J. into … North Carolina. A.J. was already there training [with some], and they didn’t let him in admissions-wise for various reasons, and Bill Belichick’s girlfriend [Jordon Hudson] had something to do with that.

Ferrari, 23, would have been a great addition to the school. He won two golds at the NCAA Division I Championships in St. Louis and Tulsa (2021), a bronze at Philadelphia (2025), and a gold in the Pac-12 Championship at Corvallis (2025).

Exploring Jordon Hudson’s role in AJ Ferrari’s de-commitment from UNC to join Nebraska

It’s unclear whether Hudson had directly had a hand in Ferrari’s decision, but Manning sounded very confident, and a guy in his position will think ten times before attempting to defame someone like Hudson, who holds a substantial pull.

[It is] very serious. [Hudson was] one of the elements, along with the men’s basketball player that had [an alleged] s**ual assault the week before, and just a lot of drama, I think, for that chancellor.

The (alleged) s**ual assault case Manning refers to in his monologue could be that of Zayden High. As a matter of fact, it wasn’t assault but misconduct. He apparently filmed another student without asking for their consent. UNC immediately suspended High, and he is currently banned from the premises.

However, High is not the only one who was accused of misbehavior. In 2022, a Stillwater woman accused Ferrari of performing unwanted s**ual acts against her, and the Dallas native was charged with a felony. However, the authorities dropped the charges against Ferrari in 2023, as per The Oklahoman.

Hudson’s first foray into the world of controversy happened through her and Belichick’s interview at the CBS Mornings studio. Eyewitnesses claimed that the former cheerleader meddled a lot during the shooting and even interjected when the host asked questions about their relationship.

Ex-ESPN reporter turned podcast host, Pablo Torre, delved deep and found dirt on Hudson. Torre was among the whistleblowers who shed light on UNC banning Hudson from their grounds. Not only that, but she was rumored to have cost the institution millions by pestering the HBO crew, who canceled their plans to include UNC in the new season of Hard Knocks.

Belichick first met Hudson on a Boston flight in 2022 when he was still the head coach of the New England Patriots. A year later, he left the Patriots and accepted the head coaching gig of the Tar Heels football team. He signed a five-year contract worth $10 million a year.
