World No.1 Nelly Korda praises Caitlin Clark’s golfing skills, labels her ‘very talented’ after teeing off at The ANNIKA Pro-Am
World No.1 golfer Nelly Korda seemed impressed with the golfing skills of WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark after playing half a round with her.

Ever since Caitlin Clark made her professional debut in the WNBA, she has continued to vow the fans with her performances. While she is great at basketball, she is even good at golf. The Indiana Fever star’s incredible golfing skills were even applauded by World No.1 golfer Nelly Korda after the two of them teed off at The ANNIKA pro-am.
Though she only played half a round with the WNBA star, Korda was left impressed with her performance. In the press conference after the round, she hailed Clark as a “very talented” person.
The 26-year-old golfer pointed out that Clark was very relaxed during the event despite the media attention she has garnered over the last year.

Nelly Korda stated that playing with the 22-year-old felt like “two friends hanging out.” She would also claim that it was cool to see the amount of influence she has on women’s sports. As per reports, Clark’s appearance at this event saw the ticket prices go up by 12 percent.

During the WNBA offseason, Caitlin Clark tried her hand in golf. Her appearance at The ANNIKA pro-am drew in several viewers as fans turned on to see how she performs in this sport. Golf influencer Paige Spiranac was one of them and even commented on a ‘relatable‘ blunder Clark made.
In one of her rounds, Clark committed an error which many golfers have done. She would yank one of her tee shots over the gallery which almost took a fan’s head off. Fortunately, no harm was done. After that, she immediately reloaded a second ball and tried again. Check out that video below:

Spiranac, a former LPGA Tour professional turned content creator has been in this situation many times her self. As a result of this, she was able to relate to this mistake of Clark.
The 31-year-old recently shared a clip of her hitting some tee shots in the night sky while donning a leopard print shorts. Her relating with Clark’s missed shot signals that golf is indeed harder than it originally looks.
