The Boston Celtics have been a force to reckon with in the previous month or so. Starting the year 2022 with a bang, with iconic team seems to be raging with fine form, courtesy to their marquee scorer. In their most recent game, Jayson Tatum scored only 5 points before the third quarter began, but dropped 19 in the quarter after he was trash-talked by former Celtics Assistant Jerome Allen.

Jayson Tatum has been a monumental player for the Celtics, after being picked 3rd overall in the first round of the NBA Draft in 2017 by the Boston Celtics, he has since then stuck with the Celtics ever since he started playing in the NBA. This season the Celtics are in a good position and things will likely to be getting better, with the best defense in the league and Jayson Tatum is also one of the names in the All-Stars.
Tatum this season is on a roll, he is averaging 25.9 points, 4.1 assists, and 8.5 rebounds. The stats surely back him up for playing a major role in the great run the Celtics are on. Jason Tatum has been playing well for a while now this season, and his points per game efficiency are also on a rising curve, sometimes he does lift his foot off the gas during games, but when it comes to defense, with his team fully up to the task he does not slag there and makes it a fighting chance in defense.

Jayson Tatum was having a quiet game till Half-Time, it was before the start of the third quarter, the Former Celtics Assistant Jerome Allen who was on the Pistons Bench trash talked him, after the game Jason told about him erupting in the third quarter, “He told me I had only five points and he said, You might as well put a coach’s polo on tonight.”
He took things personally and being a Jordan Athlete, he showed who he was, Jerome Allen trash-talked Tatum directly and Jason Tatum would take things personally was bound to happen.
The words spoken by Allen to Tatum were enough for the Celtics man to take things to matter into his own hands and tear apart the comments, he dropped 19 points which took his total for the night to 24 points. It never looked that the Celtics would have any problems taking down the Detroit Pistons, and won the game 102-93, which makes it 4 consecutive wins in the league.
Celtics have now won 7 games out of the last 10 games, after showing a brilliant response in the third quarter, the Celtics ended the quarter 78-56 going in the last quarter.
