One of the upcoming skin bundles has been named ‘Tethered Realms’ and it connects the two worlds of “The Dark Side of Sovereign, Corrupted Delicate, Beautiful Impurity.” The metallic green finish to the skins is subtly complemented by neon green lines running between the bodies, whilst featuring a visual portal to look into the different realms of Forsaken and Sovereign.

The skin displays a castle either in the dark world filled with green and black edges of Forsaken or the bright world of Sovereign with smooth white and blue design, depending on the position of the player, i.e., the color of the gun changes in presence of light similar to the winter wunderland skin line. The guns show the Forsaken reality in the dark while others show the Sovereign reality in dark.

But the melee is the best part of this skin line, featuring a forsaken-themed sword that changes in the light as well but offering a level two upgrade, where players can wield two different knives in both hands. Although to keep fair play, the second melee will not be visible to enemies and allies alike. The Tethered Realms collection will be purchasable in the in-game shop with the launch of patch 2.09 and will cost 7100 VP.

Tethered Realms weapon skins include:

  • Tethered Realms Vandal
  • Tethered Realms Guardian
  • Tethered Realms Ghost
  • Tethered Realms Operator
  • Tethered Realms Sword and Dagger

As far as the second bundle goes, “Minima” is true to its name, and is a beautifully futuristic skin line introduced in Valorant. This skin design is minimalistic to the core and matte black like the normal skins in Valorant with minute detail in glossy black lines and a golden lined detail.

While the devs do not seem to have toiled too much on its New Skin Bundles in Valorant, the upcoming skins are a far cry from the flashy skins Valorant usually presents us with. Minima might be too minimal and Tethered realms might be too tethered with Forsaken that it seems simply like a Forsaken model with a different interior! Although, since Forsaken was a hyped skin, Realms might get a pass for it, and till then, we will have to wait for RIOT to actually make something from scratch.
