Neymar Jr. is having the time of his life in Saudi Arabia. After just one year since he joined Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, the Brazilian lifted his fourth trophy for the League champions.
Despite having not much bigger of a role than a spectator, Neymar is still a League champion and a King’s Cup gold medalist. As his side tasted victory against the Faris Najd, cameras captured the player and his teammates joining the crowd as they chanted Lionel Messi‘s name!

Al-Hilal were comfortably in control of the game up until the 88th minute, when an unexpected header from Ayman Ahmed gave Al-Nassr a way back in. However, victory was within grasp for the men in blue when David Ospina was sent off for handling the ball outside the penalty area. A quick glimpse of the stands revealed Neymar and his friends thoroughly enjoying the crowd’s chants as they sang Lionel Messi’s name in unison.
The Brazilian, who is recovering from an injury suffered in October, was seen having a good laugh as he recorded the chants of the crowd. Messi and Neymar are close friends, both on and off the field.
Neymar Jr.’s reaction to Al-Hilal lifting the King’s Cup goes viral
Neymar Jr. has always been a man to put on a show for the cameras. Despite being injured and in the stands, the 32-year-old took the spotlight as his side clinched victory over their rivals in the final. As the game went to spot kicks, the Brazilian made his way to the side of the pitch, as he watched on nervously from the stands.

Neymar was seen jumping up and down in jubilation as Yassine Bounou got his hands on Fahad Al-Nemer‘s penalty. The Moroccan put a firm hand to the strike, which deflected off of him and hit the woodwork on its way out. Bounou was praised for his monumental display between the sticks, as he kept out two crucial penalties in the end.
The Brazilian, who is yet to recover from a serious knee injury, limped his way onto the pitch before jumping on a sea of Al-Hilal players who were busy in celebration. As of now, Neymar is a Saudi Pro League champion while also lifting the King’s Cup, all while being out of action since October!
