Aaron Rodgers, one of the biggest superstars in the world of the NFL is a man who loves to make the headlines. No matter what he has said and done over the past year or so, one just can’t deny that he is indeed a fantastic quarterback who can single-handedly change the outcomes of the games.

Understandably, there were a lot of speculations about where Rodgers will end up for the 2022 season as soon as the previous season came to an end. Then the news came out that the Packers offered a long-term contract to Aaron Rodgers that would transform the whole quarterback market.

Aaron Rodgers to stay with the Packers for at least a couple more years

Rodgers himself confirmed that he will stay with the Packers for the 2022 season. However, he also claimed that he hasn’t signed a $200 million contract with Green Bay. “Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the Packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I ‘signed’. I’m very excited to be back,” he had Tweeted.

And now, ESPN’s Adam Schefter has confirmed a number on which Packers and Rodgers have agreed upon. “Aaron Rodgers’ new deal is three years, $150 million – but that’s including this year that he already had. So in actuality, it’s really a two-year, $124 million extension,” Adam tweeted.

This is indeed a huge number but one can expect absolutely anything and everything to happen when Aaron Rodgers is involved. It will be interesting to see how the star player performs in the coming season.
