However, recently, as per a report by ESPN, the Packers offered a long-term contract to Aaron Rodgers that would transform the whole quarterback market. According to the report, the 4-time MVP signed a new 4 year, $200 million extension to remain in Green Bay, possibly for the rest of his career.

However, what comes as a new twist in the tale, Aaron Rodgers has claimed that he hasn’t signed a contract with the Packers as of yet. However, he agreed that he is going to stay with them during the next season. “Hey everyone, just wanted to clear some things up; YES I will be playing with the Packers next year, however, reports about me signing a contract are inaccurate, as are the supposed terms of the contract I ‘signed’. I’m very excited to be back,” he Tweeted.
