With everything that is going on in the NFL at the moment including Tom Brady’s sensational comeback, people are confused over the future of several other players as well. However the Packers fans can be a bit more calmed down after Aaron Rodgers has confirmed that he will indeed be staying.

Earlier there had been talks of Aaron Rodgers signing a mega contract of $46.6 million which would make him the highest paid player in the NFL. However Aaron Rodgers himself has come out and confirmed that the terms of the contract are not true.

There had been a wide number of reports stating the fact that Aaron Rodgers had signed the contract with many news outlets and pundits reporting so. But Aaron Rodgers himself has denied it.

Moreover another topic of discussion which can arise from this is that whether Aaron Rodgers will be ready to take a dip in his wages similar to what Tom Brady did for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? Tom Brady is already in contract with Tampa Bay for $10.4 million for the 2022 season as a placeholder year.

There have been reports that the Green Bay Packers have readied a $200 million deal for Aaron Rodgers over the next four years with a $153 million guaranteed pay. Additionally this would make him the highest paid NFL player while also reducing his player cap for 2022.
