His father, Eddie Brown, is a former football player who used to play for the Firebirds in Albany in the Arena Football League. He had a very tumultuous childhood with his father, leaving him and his younger brother to their mother. She raised both of them as a single mother.
Eventually, Moss remarried but the former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver had a falling out with his stepdad and drifted apart. Adrianne Moss got married for a second time to Hollywood director Larry Moss, but they got divorced later and are now living separately.
“It was a little rough,” he said in an interview. “My dad was away, my mom had another husband, and that relationship with me didn’t fine-tune very well. As a teenager, I had to live with teammates and kind of find a way for myself.”
