“Big Ben is a legend”: Ben Roethlisberger goes past Brett Favre to become the player with third-most passing yards in postseason history

Ben Roethlisberger
The Steelers somehow managed to enter into the playoffs after some results went in their way. However, it was evident that they would have to play completely out of their skins in order to get past the Kansas City Chiefs. Right from the beginning, the Chiefs looked in control.
The Steelers never really looked like they arrived. The Chiefs kept building on to their lead and eventually ended up on the winning side by 42-21. Although there was nothing much to celebrate for the Steelers fan, one particular player reached a milestone that made the fans and the franchise extremely proud.
Big Ben scripts a fantastic record against the Chiefs

Ben Roethlisberger, popularly known as Big Ben has made a record which he and all the Steelers admirers around the world will cherish. Roethlisberger went past Joe Montana and Brett Favre to become the player with the third-most passing yards in postseason history.
Ben now has 5,972 yards in 23 playoff games. It is indeed a magnificent achievement for Big Ben as he is someone who has stayed with the Steelers for a very long time and with his retirement not far away, it is only fair that he adds his name to the history books.
Ben would have wanted to end his stint on a winning note. However, it would be fair to say that even he knew, going past Chiefs would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish. The list on which Ben is now placed on number three, Tom Brady sits on the top position, while Peyton Manning holds the second position.
