Big Ben won his final game at Heinz Field by defeating the Cleveland Browns 26-14. Roethlisberger has been a Steeler his entire career. The Pittsburgh Steelers drafted Ben 11th overall during the 2004 draft season. Ben was in tears after playing his last game at Heinz Field which has been his home for the past 18 years. “I’m so thankful and blessed to be able to call this place home for almost half my life,” Roethlisberger said. “In front of these fans, seeing all the signs, all the jerseys, I’m just so blessed and so thankful.”

Roethlisberger passed for 123 yards and a touchdown and one interception against the Browns. Ben got to take a knee one last time at Heinz Field. “I didn’t think I was going to take the field again, but it’s the best play in football, when you’re an offensive player, to take a knee. So I’m glad I got to do it one last time”, said Roethlisberger. This statement indicates that Big Ben is retiring after this season.

The Steelers QB was overwhelmed with emotions after winning the game. He was seen hugging his kids and wife in tears after the match ended.

Roethlisberger is definitely a Hall of Famer QB. He is the Steelers’ all-time leader in QB wins (163), Home wins (91), and Pass TD (416). The Steelers still have one last game against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 18. The Steelers can still make the playoffs as a wild card if craziness happens among other AFC teams this weekend.
