The Steelers making their way into the playoffs was nothing short of a miracle. It felt like even God wanted fans to see some more of Big Ben. However, it was evident that they would have to play exceedingly well in order to get past the Kansas City Chiefs.

In the playoffs showdown, the Steelers never really looked like they arrived. The Chiefs kept building on to their lead and eventually ended up on the winning side by 42-21. Nevertheless, Big Ben achieved a great milestone in the game which probably was the only high point for the Steelers.

Ben Roethlisberger went past Joe Montana and Brett Favre to become the player with the third-most passing yards in postseason history. Ben now has 5,972 yards in 23 playoff games. Moreover, after the game, Kansas City Cheifs’ star QB Patrick Mahomes had a brief chat with Ben.

During the chat, Mahomes asked for Big Ben’s jersey to which Ben readily agreed. In fact, the two decided to exchange jerseys. A video of their interaction started making rounds on social media as soon as it came out with many hailing Mahomes for being such a sport.

Ben had a fantastic career. Known as one of the most humble of the NFL stars, Ben dedicated his life to the Steelers and in turn earned a fan base that will do anything to just catch a glimpse of him.
