“Celebrity or Hall of Famer?”: Skip Bayless wants Antonio Brown to choose which one is more important to him

Antonio Brown and Skip Bayless
Antonio Brown, the King of controversies, has been the topic of conversation for every news outlet and football show since his meltdown in the Jets game. The Bucs WR was called back from his suspension to play against the New York Jets in Week 17. He was his productive self in the game until he had his meltdown and walked off the field shirtless in the third quarter of the game.
Since his meltdown, Antonio Brown has made some pretty serious accusations against the Bucs and head coach Bruce Arians. In his official statement, Brown said that Arians forced him to play against the Jets despite knowing about his ankle injury. He even shared images of private text messages between him and Bruce Arians on Twitter to prove that Arians had previous knowledge about his injury.
“It wasn’t necessary”: Antonio Brown wishes he handled his meltdown in a professional manner

Recently, the Super Bowl champ was captured having dinner with musician Kanye West. Before heading into the restaurant, Brown had a quick conversation with the camera guys from TMZ Sports about his departure from the Jets’ game and he seems to wish he had handled himself differently. “It probably wasn’t necessary or professional,” said AB, all while keeping a smile on his face.
Undisputed hosts, Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless had an interesting discussion about AB’s aforementioned statement. Skip Bayless had one particular question he wants to ask AB — “In the end is it more important to you to be a celebrity or a Hall of Famer? because they are two very different things.” Skip said, “You can have some celebrity and Hall of Fame but you can’t become a celebrity and a Hall of Famer because the voters will not stand for it. They won’t endorse you.”
Shannon Sharpe feels that no Hall of Fame voter will vote in Antonio Brown’s favor

Continuing Skip’s train of thoughts, Shannon said, “Most of those guys (HOF Voters) are old school. They believe there’s a right and a wrong way to handle every situation.” Shannon said that there won’t be a single Hall of Fame voter who would agree with the way AB handled the situation.
Brown’s behavior has been called into question his entire NFL career. Despite having great productivity on the field, expert analysts believe that no team would want to have Antonio Brown in their locker room. After being cut from the Buccaneers, Antonio Brown is set to hit the free-agent market this season. But given the way he has treated his team and teammates, no team would be desperate enough to sign him. No one can’t say this with conviction but it appears that Antonio Brown has played his last snap in the NFL.
