Aaron Rodgers for the second straight offseason has all the media attention. It’s for the same reason as last year too. Everyone wants to know, where is Aaron Rodgers going to play in 2022?
Given the way the 2020 season ended and the things that were said then, it seemed that if the Packers didn’t at least make the Super Bowl in 2021, Rodgers would surely be out of Green Bay. Well, the 2021 season has come and gone and things are still a bit unsure.

The Packers waltzed through the regular season to the #1 seed once again. And, once again, they failed to deliver in the playoffs. In 2020 they at least made the NFC championship. This year, they fell in the divisional round and Rodgers produced an asbolute dud.
With how everything ended, it was sure that Aaron Rodgers would no longer be a Packer. In the time that’s passed since the loss, despite Rodgers not making his statement, everything seems to be pointing to him remaining in Green Bay. Colin Cowherd recently looked at this and some things to say.
Colin Cowherd beleives Aaron Rodgers has the offseason going exaclty how he wants it

On a segment of his show, ‘The Herd’, Colin Cowherd was quoted saying “Most people think he’s staying in Green Bay. I certainly do. Matt LaFleur said yesterday, I don’t want to annoy Aaron Rodgers, I’m not talking to him. Probably the best thing to do. Who goes on a 12 day cleanse and doesn’t come out of it with professional clarity. He knows what he’s doing.”
Cowherd further added “I think he loves this. I think when he put the Instagram post out, he spent hours on it. And, he made it ambiguous for a reason. You could ask 10 people about the post, 5 would say it’s a goodbye post, 5 would say he’s staying. He did it on purpose. Aaron likes the attention.”
Cowherd also added “Deep down I think he knows the NFC north is one of the worst divisions in football and he can continue to own it. I think he knows the NFC now, Brady is retired, Brees is retired, Sean Payton is gone, it’s there for the taking. I think deep down he knows what he’s doing.”
Aaron Rodgers recently shut down claims of him wanting a $50 million contract to stay in Green Bay. It’s not too far-fetched to believe he’d want to be the highest paid player in the NFL. Whether or not the Packers will actually do it is a completely different thing but it seems regardless, he could be playing out his final contract year in Green Bay.
