Tom Brady is one of the finest quarterbacks to ever play the game. The QB spent two decades with the Patriots and completely transformed the fortune of the side before joining the Bucs where he won another Super Bowl title. His stats are just too good to be true.

Even in his mid-40s, Tom was nothing short of sensational, and under him, the Bucs were doing pretty well. However, the NFL fans were left shocked when Brady announced his retirement from the game after the 2021 season came to an end. He stated that he wanted to spend more time with his family.

However, Brady recently surprised his fans yet again by announcing that he will return for the Bucs in the 2022 season. Although fans were elated by his return, they were finding it hard to find a reason behind Brady’s hasty decision to call it quits and then brisk return.

A few fans took to Twitter to suggest that it was actually football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who somehow managed to persuade Brady to come back. Not long ago, Brady was at Old Trafford to watch a United game in which Ronaldo ended up scoring a marvelous hat-trick against Tottenham.

Brady was seen having a few words with Ronaldo. Even Ronaldo seemed quite happy to have a few words with Tom. “Always a pleasure and a privilege to share some thoughts and ideas with another GOAT,” Ronaldo had tweeted. Interestingly, just a little after 24 hours, Brady announced that he will play for the Bucs in the 2022 season.

Was it something Ronaldo said or was Brady just finding it too hard to stay away from his first love? Nobody knows the exact answer but one thing is for sure, Brady is back, Ronaldo is performing well, and sports fans are happy.
