“Does Tom Brady have enough playmakers around him to win Super Bowl?”: Here’s what top NFL analysts have to say
Max Kellerman, Tom Brady, and Jay Williams
Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. After spending a lot of time with the Patriots and enjoying a lot of success, Brady was roped in by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and it seems like only the uniform has changed, and rest everything is intact as he still continues to bamboozle the oppositions.
Even at 44 years of age, Brady has been simply sensational this season. He has guided his side through to the playoffs and has been a fantastic leader as well. However, many reckon that his side has a tough road ahead as many of the top stars are unavailable for Bucs in the playoffs.
“Brady can do it without elite players”: Jay Williams
Recently, on the Keyshawn JWill & Max Show, Jay Williams, Keyshawn Johnson, Max Kellerman, and Dan Graziano discussed if Tom Brady has got the side that can go all the way, yet again, or not. Giving his take on the topic, Dan claimed that Brady’s side doesn’t have enough match winners.
“This is because Chris Godwin got hurt, Antonio Brown quit the team, they are also without Leonard Fourentte for the last three weeks who was their second-leading receiver as of three weeks ago when he and Godwin got hurt. So, he’s coming back and that’s a big part of it, but I think there are a lot of people questioning, Godwin caught a lot of balls for this team, Antonio Brown was supposed to replace him, neither one of those guys is coming back,” he said.
Keyshawn Johnson was also in agreement with Dan as he also stated that Brady does not have enough playmakers around him. “Leonard banged up, there is no AB, and now you got Gronkowski who is older and Mike Evans is still kind of nursing injuries in and out of the lineup. So I don’t think for the long haul repeating, he doesn’t have enough playmakers,” he said.
Jay Williams claimed that although Brady is without a lot of top players, the QB has done it without elite players before in the past so it will interesting to see if he can do it again. Giving his take, Max claimed that Brady’s side is good enough to go the distance. “If you have Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski, most years on the Patriots they have been better pass catchers and he won the super bowl with that,” he said.
