Eli Manning and Tom Brady
Tom Brady, what a man, what a career. In his incredible journey in the NFL spanning over two decades, Brady broke innumerable records. First, he completely transformed the fortunes of the New England Patriots, and then he guided the Bucs to a Super Bowl title last season.
Even at 44 years of age, Brady churned out superb numbers this season as well and led his team with a lot of passion. Although the Bucs couldn’t go to the Super Bowl, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that they had a pretty good season, and looking at how Tom performed, everyone thought that he will play for at least one more season.
“He’s too good”: Eli Manning on Tom Brady
However, Brady left everyone shellshocked after officially announcing his retirement. While the speculations about his retirement were put to rest, many have found interest in speculating about what Tom will do post-retirement. In a recent interaction with TMZ, Eli Manning claimed that it is highly unlikely that Tom will go into broadcasting.
“He’s not going into broadcasting,” Manning said. “He’s too good.” Indeed, many top quarterbacks prefer to stay away from television, and given that Tom has stated on various occasions that he wants to pay more attention to his family, Manning’s statement actually makes a lot of sense.
Tom has been simply outstanding through the years and he will be dearly missed by all the NFL fans. His determination and undying spirit have made him an absolute favorite, not just among the fans but among sporting legends as well. Even LeBron James recently said that he looked up to Brady for inspiration for a number of years.
