James Richard Garoppolo has made a name for himself in the world of American Football. After getting drafted in by the New England Patriots, James was transferred to the 49ers towards the end of the 2017 season and it won’t be wrong to say that his presence instantly changed the fortunes of the sides.
Not only did the 49ers win the remaining games of the 2017 season after his arrival, but he also guided the side to the top position in NFC in 2019, something which happened for the first time in the franchise’s history since 1997. However, lately, James has been subjected to a lot of criticism.
He has a magnificent 30-15 record for the 49ers since he was roped in the team. Although he hasn’t given path-breaking performances, he has constantly guided his side to victories after victories. Talking about the criticism James faces, George Kittle had a few things to say on 95.7 The Game.

“I’ve been defending Jimmy for four years now, and I’m still confused about a lot of the criticism,” Kittle stated. “He goes out there and he wins, and I think he plays at a high level. He’s very good at getting our offense to do what it needs to be successful, and he puts us in a position to win a lot of the time,” he added.
“There’s a lot of quarterbacks out there that might struggle with that. But I think maybe because it’s the San Francisco 49ers and Jimmy once was the highest-paid quarterback in the league, he had a spotlight on him, and people like to drag those people from the spotlight,” he added.
Kittle also claimed that Jimmy has a magnificent job of leading the side when the circumstances when not in their favor. “He’s been nothing but a professional for as long as I’ve known him. I’ve enjoyed playing with him, and I know everyone else on this team does, too,” he further stated.
The 49ers were subjected to an agonizing defeat against the Titans in their previous encounter. They would like to get back to winning ways by thrashing the Texans in their next clash.
