WATCH: “Shushed, Tossed, Shushed” George Pickens tosses Michigan DB to the sidelines before giving him a nice send-off
Michigan Wolverines were never a match for their opponents Georgia Bulldogs in the Orange Bowl encounter as the Bulldogs ran out convincing winners by a comfortable 34-11 margin.
One man who simply stole the show for the Georgia Bulldogs was their wide receiver George Pickens, not only with his impact on the pitch but simply his attitude towards his opponents on and off the field of play.
George Pickens showed the Michigan Wolverines- who’s boss with his act of dominance on the pitch
In an exciting piece of play that unfolded in the fourth quarter of the match, the 20-year old pulled off something incredible to show his dominance. George Pickens was lined up on the numbers, as the attack started for the Bulldogs, next to the Michigan sideline across from cornerback Daxton Hill.
However, just before the ball was put into action, the towering wide receiver looked over to the Wolverines bench out of the field and appeared to shush them by putting a finger on his lips.
He did not simply stop there, and just as the ball was played forward, he completely mauled over Michigan’s defensive back, Daxton Hill bodying him to the ground. Not only that, he brought his silencing skills yet again and shushed his opponent yet again, but this time it was for Daxton Hill.
George Pickens completed the victory over the Michigan Wolverines with only a single catch completing nine yards as he continues his return to full fitness following an ACL tear earlier in 2021.
