“I give him a 3”: Shannon Sharpe rates Dak Prescott’s ability to lead the Cowboys to their first postseason win in three years

Shannon Sharpe and Dak Prescott
Dallas Cowboys ended their regular season with a dominant victory over the Philadephia Eagles. It looked like Dak Prescott and the Cowboys were already in their playoff mindset by judging the way in which they crushed the Eagles.
There is a ton of responsibility on Dak Prescott heading into the postseason. Dallas Cowboys have not won a single postseason game in the last 3 seasons. Given Prescott’s mercurial performance this season, there are many doubts whether Prescott manages to end this drought or will the Cowboys remain without a postseason victory for the fourth consecutive year.
Shannon Sharpe has zero confidence in Dak Prescott’s performance

Cowboys quarterback, Dak Prescott had his career-high 5 touchdowns in the season finale game. His stellar performance has against the Eagles has given the Cowboys extra motivation as well as confidence heading into the playoffs. However, Undisputed co-host Shannon Sharpe feels otherwise. “I don’t trust him”, said Sharpe. “I don’t trust the Cowboys either.”
“What I’ve seen from Dak Prescott this season is been up and down”, said Sharpe. “I’ve watched him play great against Atlanta and then the next week he plays terribly against Kansas City, I watch him play great against Washington, I’ve watched him play terrible next week against Arizona.” The former tight-end said he can’t trust a QB that isn’t consistent.
“He’s a 3 out of 10”: Shannon Sharpe rates Dak Prescott going into playoffs

Dak Prescott has had a roller-coaster of a season this year. He hasn’t performed consistently every week this season. Shannon said, “I’ve seen it go up and down, I can’t ride the rollercoaster, I’m more of a merry-go-round.” Shannon feels that even if Dak Prescott manages to emerge victorious against the San Fransico 49ers, he’s bound to lose the next match.
Shannon said, “The second half of the season, I’ve watched him beat bad teams and struggle against good teams, and sometimes he even struggled against bad teams. The Broncos didn’t just beat you (Cowboys), they beat you down.” Shannon rated Dak Prescott and the Cowboys’ chances of making it in the playoffs — “I give him a 3, I’ll give him my old high school jersey number.” Shannon concluded by saying, “At some point in time and I think it’s gonna be the first game cause I got you (Cowboys) one and done, you’re gonna do Cowboys things.”
The Cowboys will face the 49ers in the Wild Card Round at AT&T Stadium on Sunday night.
