“It’s tough to do these deals at GUNPOINT”: Ian Rapoport gives his take on Kyler Murray’s situation with the Cardinals
Kyler Murray
There has been an air of confusion surrounding quarterback Kyler Murray’s future at the National Football League (NFL) team the Arizona Cardinals. Last month, Kyler Murray deleted all of his pictures for the Arizona Cardinals from his Instagram account.
This created a major hype among fans if whether he was going to continue with them. Additionally, many people started to question whether he has had a rift with the club’s management.
Ian Rapoport says Kyler Murray’s situation will be solved at the Arizona Cardinals
NFL insider Ian Rapoport speaking on Kyler Murray’s situation with Arizona Cardinals has said that “it will be okay” and that it won’t be sensible at this point of time for Murray to look at other options. He says that such deals are tough to complete at ‘gunpoint’ but he backs the two parties to mutually resolve it.
“I think most people think it’s going to be okay,” he said on the Rich Eisen Show. “I think there is a deal that they can do. If I’m Kyler [Murray], I would think about staying.”
“They can work out a deal but it’s hard to do such deals at gunpoint. But the numbers are defined you have Patrick Homes at 45, Josh Allen at 43 so they can find a deal somewhere between that. So if he wants a deal they can so my guess is it’s going to be okay.”
Earlier speaking about Kyler Murray, Ian Rapoport had said – “He is definitely not happy about something. I just don’t know what that is.”
“They’re asking questions too. I reached out to people close to Kyler Murray, and it didn’t seem like it was a planned strategy. It seemed more reactionary to me.”
